AUGUST SCI-FI THEME
Our August Sci-Fi is a genre-bending story about friendship, Science Fiction, toxic fandoms, and the importance of creating art. Our protagonist is a heavily flawed, chronically single, oblivious Sci-fi enthusiast who has dedicated his life to enlightening the world on the greatest science fiction multiverse ever created.
Behind the short stories that comprise this universe is a group of dysfunctional Brooklyn writers trying to navigate adulthood, which is led by our protagonist’s best (and only) friend. There’s just one problem: interpersonal dramas keep threatening to tear the group apart. Can our protagonist’s schemes keep everyone together?
