    First off I don't get the monthly box so I bought this book because I thought it was absolutely stunning. I didn't know when you got the book that you get this little letter to whoever purchased it through our crate from the author and it absolutely love that.

    I want this book to be a movie.

    I bought this box for my niece for christmas and got a second hand copy for myself so I could read it with her. I was BLOWN AWAY with how good this story was! I've read a few owlcrate books from the YA box that made me nervous to purcahse this because they were...not great. But even as a 30 year old woman this book was hard to put down. She captured this period piece beautifully. Especially with her descriptions of high societal norms and what any of the well to do people during that time would do to keep up with appearances and their reputations from faltering. Lovely unique use of magic that was a breath of fresh air.
