Introducing OwlCrate Press

OwlCrate has always been about passion for books and a deep connection with the reading community.

Founded by Korrina and Robert, OwlCrate began as a monthly subscription service designed to deliver hand-picked young adult novels to readers everywhere. Their vision was not only to enhance the reading experience but also to create a vibrant, supportive community around it. From these roots, a new branch has grown: OwlCrate Press, our very own publishing house.

The decision to establish OwlCrate Press stems from OwlCrate’s long-standing aspiration to have a direct hand in nurturing and publishing stories that resonate with and reflect the diverse voices of our community. This new venture is a natural progression of their initial mission—to celebrate and uplift authors in an ever-evolving industry.

In 2024, OwlCrate Press is set to publish its first novel, “Monsters In Masquerade,” the debut of our planned four book Darkset Chronicles anthology series. This fantasy horror anthology features a mix of both bestselling, emerging and totally new authors, celebrating diversity and compelling stories.

Our community is not only our audience, but our guiding force. Our selections will be deeply influenced by the feedback, discussions and aspirations of our fans and readers. OwlCrate Press will actively seek to publish stories that are reflective of the voices, identities and themes that resonate with our community.

At OwlCrate Press, supporting authors is at the core of our mission. We are dedicated to providing a transparent platform where new voices can flourish alongside established writers. Our approach includes comprehensive developmental editing, professional coaching, full support of internal marketing, and meticulous content and beta reading to ensure that authors receive the best guidance and resources they need.
