We will always update this page to make sure you have the most up-to-date information regarding your shipment - even if it is to say everything is on schedule!
Delays are rare, but when they happen, we will be sure to mention it here.
All shipping schedules are listed below with a small FAQ at the bottom of the page. If you ever have any additional questions, please email support@owlcrate.com. Ozwald and his team of owls are always happy to help!
EU Shipping Delays (July 2026)
As we work with our shipping partners to ensure all shipping labels include the correct information for the new EU Customs processes, some June orders bound for the EU have been delayed. This includes June Book Only subscriptions and shop orders, as well as June YA Book & Goodies boxes.
If you are still waiting on one of these orders, we appreciate your patience. As the process is the same for July, this month's Romantasy books have also been affected, but everything should be on the move soon.
As always, once your order ships, you will receive an email with your shipping notification and tracking number.
For any changes that may occur with these new processes, as all parties settle into the new normal, we will be sure to update all EU customers as things come up.We want to make things as easy as they can be for our customers.

When will my order ship?
Due to the multiple Monthly and Quarterly subscriptions we offer, as well as the many Limited Edition books and boxes we ship each month, our shipping schedule is a flexible one, allowing us to get the next available book out the door, keeping up a constant flow of shipments.
Monthly and Quarterly Subscriptions will always ship within their given month, as long as there are no unforeseen delays. The best way to see when your book or box is expected to ship is to keep an eye on our Shipping Updates page. This page is updated weekly, if not every few days.
Limited Edition Books and Boxes will always have an estimated ship month mentioned in the shop listing, and will also appear on the Shipping Updates page. As we get closer to the estimated ship time, we will share a more specific ship date on the Shipping Updates page.
Past Boxes, Books, and Items purchased through our online store are typically processed and shipped within 2-6 business days. There are occasions when an order will be processed the same day as it was purchased. Our little owls are always hard at work!
Notes:
- For any orders, once a shipment has moved to Processed in our system, we are no longer able to cancel/refund that order. Be sure you are confident with your purchase at checkout and that your shipping address is correct. Also, make sure the shipping address attached to your subscription is up to date. You can find more information on address updates HERE.
- As always, once your order ships, you will receive an email with your shipping notification and tracking number.
- If you purchased your subscription later in the month/after the first batch of shipments has already been processed, your order may ship a bit later than the shipping dates listed.
Can I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel an order, please email your request to support@owlcrate.com.
Monthly and Quarterly Subscriptions:
- If your renewal had gone through, you can expect to receive that month's box. Cancelling your subscription will not cancel the order that is already in the system or trigger a refund.
- As long as your order/shipment hasn't moved into the "Processed" stage, which generally happens a few days before shipping, we will be happy to cancel and refund your order.
- Please email customer support as soon as possible.
Shop Orders and Special Editions:

- Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds.
Can I change my shipping address?
Monthly and Quarterly Subscriptions:
- If you need to update the shipping address on your subscriptions, you can do so through your customer account. You can find instructions HERE.
- If your renewal has already gone through, please email support@owlcrate.com to ensure your current month's box gets shipped to the correct address. Updating your customer account will not update orders that are already in the system.
- As long as your monthly shipment hasn't moved into the "Processed" stage, which generally happens a few days before shipping, we can still update your address.
- If your shipment has been processed, we are no longer able to make changes and your box will be sent to the shipping address on file at time of renewal. Please make customer support aware of any changes ASAP.
Shop Orders and Special Editions:
- These orders are separate from the regular monthly subscriptions. Updating the shipping address in your customer account will not update the address on pending shipments.
- Please email support@owlcrate.com ASAP to update your shipping address.
- As long as your order/shipment hasn't moved into the "Processed" stage, which generally happens a few days before shipping, we can still update your address.
- If your shipment has been processed, we are no longer able to make changes and your box will be sent to the shipping address entered at checkout. Please make customer support aware of any changes ASAP.
My shipping notification listed multiple items, but one is missing.
We are sorry for any confusion your shipping notification caused. This is a glitch we are looking into and hope to have a solution soon. Not to worry, your other item will be on the way soon!
This often happens when a subscription is purchased with other books/items from the online store. The available items will ship immediately, and the subscription item will ship within that month. You can find all estimated ship dates on our Shipping Updates page.
This also happens when YA, Adult, and Quarterly subscriptions renew under the same transaction. You will receive a shipping notification when the first box is shipped. Our Shipping Updates page will have specific updates once we get closer to that box's ship date.
We will continue to work on a solution to avoid further confusion and provide clearer shipping notifications.
