ABOUT LILITTWANG

Lilitt Wang (she/her) is a freelance digital illustrator based in Atlanta in the US. Growing up, she loved fantasy and romance novels, and whenever she read an exciting scene, she had a strong urge to visualize it.
As she grew older, just imagining these scenes wasn’t enough for her anymore. That’s when she decided to switch paths by giving up her finance major in college to start creating.
She ended up pursuing a bachelor’s degree in illustration and has since worked on a variety of cool projects. She enjoys using vibrant colors and flowing lines in her pieces, and she wants people to resonate with her work and inspire them.
Where do you find inspiration
for your designs?
Most of my creations come from my daily observations.
For example, when I see a beautiful and unique flower, I imagine fairies dancing on it!
Do you have a favorite piece of art you've created to date? What makes it special to you?
My favorite is the "To the Moon" trilogy I created at the end of 2023. In this series, I explored humanity's long-standing desire for the moon, depicting three distinct moons against the backgrounds of "Cosmos," "Horizon," and "Wilderness." Even though my techniques were still immature at that time, it holds a special place in my heart. :)

“I really enjoyed my first collaboration with OwlCrate on Of Jade and Dragons because I love drawing dragons so much and feel confident and happy with ancient Asian themes!”
- The art that you see on the exclusive redesigned dust jacket and stenciled edges of Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao, which was featured in our January 2025 'In Another World' Adult Fantasy OwlCrate box.
“In my last collaboration, I created the cover for the book Water Moon, which is also one of my favorite pieces. I have always been fascinated by the imagery of the moon, and the moon reflected in the water is especially stunning.”
What are some of your favorite
books or authors?
Recently, I've been reading and loving The Long Afternoon by Aki Hamanaka. It's a uniquely sharp and intriguing Japanese mystery novel. My all-time favorite is Tales of Tarsylia by Wu Miao, a series set in a traditional "sword and magic" fantasy world that blends in many thought-provoking and philosophical elements.
