She has spent her life in exile, her vitiligo mistaken for leprosy by all who cross her path. Despite this, our main character's instinct is always to offer kindness. One such act toward a beautiful stranger results in the gift of a peach and an immortal life. 

Immortality isn't always a gift, though. As decades and centuries pass, she learns the excruciating weight of loss, outliving everyone she meets. She must also keep moving, her healing skills mistaken for witchcraft wherever she settles.

Through the years, she loses everyone and everything. Everyone except the shapeshifting god who gifted her immortality. He returns to her again and again, fueling a slow burn romance that could be the most beautiful or the most dangerous part of her existence.
