Everything You Need to Know About Our February 'Among the Monsters' Theme!

Here's what you can expect to find in our February 2022 box...

About the book:

In our February book, our main character is shocked to discover that she comes from a long line of monsters… and the boy she has feelings for turns out to be a legendary monster slayer. We are so obsessed with this story of dangerous time travel and embracing your inner monster!

We will be including a beautiful exclusive edition of the book which will feature an exclusive cover, a reversible dust jacket (artist to be revealed soon), SPRAYED EDGES, as well as an exclusive foil design on the hardcover case! Every book will also be signed and come with a letter from the author!

Items included will be inspired by This Savage Song, The Bear and The Nightingale, Lakesedge, Howl’s Moving Castle and more!

We will also be announcing another new item collection for 2022, and the first item in the collection will be included in this box. Stay tuned for more info!

Sneak Peek #1: 

Every February AMONG THE MONSTERS box will include a stunning set of metal bookends designed by @no0nedesigns! We are so obsessed with the stunning design they’ve created for this item and we simply can’t wait to see these bookends on your shelves.

2022 Collection Reveal: 

Over the course of the year OwlCrate will be self-publishing a collection of paperback classic novels! Our goal is to send out at least 3 this year, possibly more.

Each book will feature a stunning cover designed by the talented @rena.illustration. All of the books will look beautiful on their own, but will also look cohesive as a collection on your bookshelves.

We’re excited to reveal that the first book in this new collection will be none other than Frankenstein by Mary Shelley! We felt it was the perfect story to include in a box all about what it means to be monstrous.

Dust Jacket Artist Reveal:

We so excited that every book included in our February box will feature a reversible dust jacket with artwork by @gracezhuart! The piece she has illustrated for this dust jacket is so incredibly beautiful. We can’t wait for you to see it!
