Everything You Need to Know About Our January 'Thrill of the Hunt' Theme!

Here's what you can expect to find in our January 2022 box...

About the book:

Our January book features a group of estranged royal siblings coming together to hunt for treasure, in an effort to find a new source of magic for their kingdom. We absolutely loved the familial relationships in this box, as well as the epic adventure!

We will be including a beautiful exclusive edition of the book which will feature an exclusive cover, a reversible dust jacket (artist to be revealed soon), as well as an exclusive foil design on the hardcover case! Every book will also be signed and come with a letter from the author!

*We did want to let you know that it has just come to our attention that due to a printer error, the foil design that was created exclusively for our edition was accidentally used on the regular edition as well. We spoke to the publisher and they have confirmed that this design will only be used on the first print run of the regular edition and no future printings.

Items included will be inspired by Six of Crows, The Gilded Wolves, The Lord of the Rings, We Hunt the Flame and more! We will also be announcing 2 brand new collections for 2022, and you’ll find the first of these collections in this box! We are SO excited!

2022 Pin Collection: Literary Luggage!

We’ll be switching up the way we do our monthly enamel pins in 2022! In years past, our pins were always inspired by our book selections each month. It was a lot of fun but after 3 years we’re excited to try something new!

Introducing the Literary Luggage Pin Collection! Going forward every box will include a pin inspired by a beloved bookish location, and each pin will be designed as an adorable suitcase.

We are also thrilled to share our resident artist for this new collection…our amazing friend Cade at @heyatlascreative! Featured above is first literary luggage pin, which will be inspired by Red London from A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. This beautiful pin will be included in our January box! Every January box will also include the perfect pin banner for you to display your new collection on.

We hope you’re as thrilled by this idea as we are. It’s been so much fun working with Cade on all of the pin designs. They’ve truly outdone themselves. Each one is so unique and features a lot of special details! We can’t wait to see your collections grow over the year.

Sneak Peek #1:

Every January box will include an officially licensed Six of Crows item from Out of Print! This item features a really gorgeous and exclusive Grishaverse design. It’s also a very useful item! We can’t wait for you to see it.

2022 Collection Reveal:

We’ve teamed up with artist Janine Lecour on a collection of beautiful ceramic bowls inspired by The Lord of the Rings!

There will be four different bowls sent out in 2022, and each piece in the collection will be inspired by a different land in the LOTR world. The bowls are designed in such a way that they look like a piece of pottery you could find in each land!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Janine on multiple amazing items over the past two years. These bowls look very different from everything she’s created for OwlCraters in the past, and we’re confident you’re going to adore them! So much thought, research and love has gone into designing this collection and we truly can’t wait to see your reactions to it!

Dust Jack Artist Reveal:

Every January box will feature a reversible dust jacket with artwork by Ariana Jhaver! The piece she has illustrated for this dust jacket is so incredibly beautiful. We can’t wait for you to see it!

Sneak Peek #2:

Every box will include an exclusive item illustrated by the talented Wink and Wonder! We absolutely loved working with Joanna on this item. It’s perfect for any bookworm, and it has a gorgeous amount of gold foiling on it! Swoon!
