Unboxing February's WITCHES IN TRAINING
By: Cheryl LongUnboxing our February WITCHES IN TRAINING box!
This February we celebrated all things witchy! If you missed out on this box, you can grab one here, while supplies last. Let's take a closer look at all the bookish goodies!
How amazingly adorable is this Kiki’s Delivery Service inspired lunch tote? Designed by Anna & Clark Daniel from Pretend Friends (@wearepretendfriends). So cute!
Remember that magical monthly recipe card you received in January? Well here’s where you will store them! Your very own Grimoire!! This recipe grimoire binder was designed by Marisol Ortega (@marisol.ortega) and was inspired by a favourite past OwlCrate Jr pick — Love, Sugar, Magic by Anna Meriano (@annamisboring). And speaking of magical monthly recipes, this month’s recipe is for some delicious magic wands! Pretzels + chocolate candy … what could be bad about that?
Friends I (Cheryl) love love love anything stationery and love love love anything sparkly … so enter this wonderfully sparkly, rainbow wand gel pen? Yeah, I’m pretty happy about it.
Another item I always love seeing in our boxes? Tea from the tea wizards of Riddles Tea Shoppe (@riddlesteashoppe). This Spellorium Anti-hex blend tea (inspired by The Apprentice Witch by James Nicol (@jamesenicol) smells exactly like after eight chocolates. Yum!
Get crafting and create some magic in your neighbourhood! Design some fairy doors and place them throughout your neighbourhood (or in your own backyard) with this magical fairy door craft kit! I can’t wait for the temperatures to warm up a bit this spring and place these around my own backyard! Designed by Team OwlCrate Jr.
Finally — the book! The Grace of Wild Things, by Heather Fawcett (@heather_fawcett) -- a fun Anne of Green Gables retelling, with a magical witchy twist! This OwlCrate Jr special edition came with an exclusive cover, signed book plate, a letter from the author, as well as a QR code to scan for extension discussion questions from the author. Jane Mount (@jane_mount) created another beautiful enamel pin to add to your 2023 Enamel Archive monthly pin collection, inspired by this month's book.
