Meileen (she/her) is an artist based in Uruguay, where she runs a small art academy.
She has been drawing since she was very young. Her first big inspiration was the Winx series, which she spent hours sketching. Her style is very different now, but the series was what pushed her to start creating art.
After spending a long time focusing on fan art, she’s working on developing a series of original character illustrations, which allows her to explore her own storytelling voice.
She mainly creates her art digitally, but she also loves exploring oil painting and using charcoal in her traditional work.
Where do you find inspiration
for your designs?
My biggest inspirations are books, fantasy worlds, and strong narrative-driven visuals. I really enjoy translating emotions and atmosphere into my pieces, often drawing from detailed worldbuilding and character-driven stories.
Do you have a favorite piece of art you've created to date? What makes it special to you?
My favorite project so far has been creating Mistborn characters in the style of Arcane. Since Arcane is my all-time favorite series, it challenged me to experiment more with color, lighting, and storytelling through illustration. It helped me grow a lot as an artist.

I’m a big fan of Brandon Sanderson and Pierce Brown.
I love getting lost in fantastical plots with deep, detailed worldbuilding.
