ABOUT STRANGE FOREST
Art By: @the_strangeforest on Instagram
Strange Forest (he/him) has been drawing since a very young age. Art has been a consistent passion for him for many years, and he’s always wanted to work as an illustrator. He uses ink pens 99% of the time to create his art. Lately, he’s been introducing graphite pencils and white chalks for some drawings on toned paper. When he’s not creating art, you can find him playing his guitar.
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
I'm deeply inspired by nature and its mysteries. Since I was a child, I've been interested in weird phenomena like aliens, cryptids, as well as scary movies and mysterious cases, so there's always some of that in my work.
Do you have a favorite piece of art you've created to date? What makes it special to you?
I really can't choose a favorite, but I love Halloween, and I always look forward to the spooky season so I can create some creepy artwork. Those drawings are always very fun to make.

What are some of your favorite
books or authors?
My favorite book of all time is Jules Verne's "Journey to the Centre of the Earth". I love many of his books. I read a lot, and I'm really into adventure/expedition books like "The Kon-Tiki Expedition" and also horror like Stephen King's work. I'm currently on the third book from the Blackwater saga by Michael McDowell, and it has been very fun.
