The summer of 2025 is jam-packed with exciting new releases, and in this article I’ll be sharing my TBR’s most anticipated releases from June, July, and August. Buckle up and get ready to soak up the sun with these hot books which are the perfect read for this summer!

Romance Book

Sounds Like Love by Ashley Poston

Sounds Like Love follows Joni, a songwriter who returns home in hopes of curing her writer’s block. Unfortunately, her hometown of Vienna Shores is changing, which worsens her songwriting struggle and leaves her feeling left behind.


This quickly changes when she hears a man playing an addictive melody that she believes must be too good to be true. He, however, is genuine and is also struggling with his songwriting.


Together, they’ll work to heal each other’s writer's block and hope it doesn’t break them in the process.

As a man inherits his mother’s Mindbank after her death, he embarks on a mission to share her memories of the global war affecting Qin before they’re destroyed, even if it means risking his own life.
