Our October book follows a demon slayer who spends her nights hunting. When she falls for a trap and gets dragged into the palace, she is forced to serve the crown in the one thing she does best. She must work alongside the king's handsome right-hand man (and her torturer turned tutor). Her orders are to apprehend monsters and find a cure to a kingdom-wide curse. However, the deeper she delves, the closer she is to discovering a dark secret and falling for the man she swore to kill.
