OCTOBER ROMANTASY THEME
Our October book is a dark romantasy that follows a warrior general who must kidnap and train a husband from a nearby kingdom in a bid to secure her spot as the next queen. She hails from a matriarchy where most women have the ability to overpower men. She has her eyes set on a docile prince from a neighboring, patriarchal kingdom. In a drunken turn of events, that is not who she ends up capturing. Rather than the sweet prince, she ends up kidnapping his eldest brother. He scorns the idea of a matriarchy. And upon his arrival, he must keep his identity a secret as he plots his escape.
