Honestly, Marlena's reaction to Day 7 was the exact same reaction the Advent Team had when we received our first sample. Not even the sample, actually. That was our reaction the first time we saw the artwork!

“What’s a bookish advent calendar without a bookmark? The team knew we had to include a bookmark somehow, but I wanted to experiment with a style that we didn’t often include in our monthly boxes. And then I came across Saiyre’s metal bookmark designs and my quest came to an end.
Inspired by the tales of European dragons and recent stories inspired by those tales, all I wanted from this bookmark was for the dragons to look both loving and fearsome.
When Saiyre first delivered her art nouveau-inspired sketches, that was it. No notes, no changes. Cut, print, that’s a wrap.
