Olivia (she/her) is a digital artist who has been drawing for as long as she can remember. Creating art has always been her hobby and something that came to her naturally. In high school she realized she wanted to turn her hobby into her lifelong career.
"I couldn’t imagine being happy in any other career. Looking back, I feel like my conscious development as an artist started pretty late—only in high school did I really begin to focus on improving. Since then, I’ve been working every day to grow as an artist, and honestly, I’m still learning and evolving even now.”
Where do you find inspiration
for your designs?
Before starting my work, I always do some research—which often turns into hours of scrolling through Pinterest, Instagram, or digging through my own photo archives. At this stage, I look for anything that could help me, from references and color palettes to atmosphere and effects. Once I’ve gathered everything into a big file, having all the visual materials side by side makes it much easier for me to generate design ideas and concepts. It’s like piecing together a puzzle until everything clicks into place.
Do you have a favorite piece of art you've created to date? What makes it special to you?
That’s a really tough question—I never know how to answer it. I don’t think all my works are perfect, but each one holds something special for me. Some capture an obsession I had at the time, like a snapshot of my thoughts and feelings. Others mark important milestones—my first real experiment with light, the first time I broke away from rigid lines, or the first piece where I felt the concept truly came together. Every artwork is a step in my growth, so picking just one would mean ignoring all the others that shaped me.

What are some of your favorite
books or authors?
It’s probably pretty obvious from my Instagram, but my favorite book series is The Folk of the Air. It was the first fantasy series I read in high school that completely pulled me in, and it became the gateway to a whole new world for me—one I’ve been obsessed with ever since.
