Laura (she/her) is a digital artist who has always been into painting and anything art/craft-related. After rediscovering her love for reading during the pandemic, she took her passion for art and began illustrating what she was seeing on the pages. Since then, she has been bringing worlds and characters to life.
Aside from art, her hobbies include cooking, collecting red lipsticks, and photography (especially taking photos of her cat, Sophie). She’s also an animation enthusiast!
Where do you find inspiration
for your designs?
I am always inspired by fellow artists and friends…Animated shows and films are always a must for me when it comes to studying art.
Music comes in handy when I want inspiration for narrative and storytelling.
I also love John Singer Sargent’s work when I want to have a fresh eye on a different medium.
Do you have a favorite piece of art you've created to date? What makes it special to you?
This changes often, but currently my portrait study of Delilah Bard from Shades of Magic has a very special place in my heart… So I can't forget to mention the time I had the chance to work with V.E. Schwab herself!! Being able to go into the creative process with her was a dream come true...felt like I got to see bits of how her brain works.

What are some of your favorite
books or authors?
My all time favorite books are The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, The Atlas Six, If We Were Villains and Just Kids.
