Everything You Need to Know About Our July 2021 'Potions & Poisons' Theme!

Here's what you can expect to find in our July 2021 box...

About the Book:

Our July book is all about a girl with the magical ability to grow plants simply by touch. She inherits a mysterious estate from relatives she’s never known, and upon arriving discovers secrets and magic hidden within its walls. We absolutely adored this story of dangerous plants, ancient myths, family bonds, apothecaries, and discovering your own unique gifts!

We will be including a beautiful exclusive edition of this book, with an exclusive cover, a reversible dust jacket (artist to be revealed soon), and an exclusive foil design on the hardcover case. The book will also be signed!

About the Rest of the Goodies:

Items included will be inspired by potions, poisons and elixirs found in Alice in Wonderland, Labyrinth Lost, The Chronicles of Narnia, Three Dark Crowns, and The Midnight Lie! We will also be including an amazing item not inspired by any fandoms, but we know you’ll be obsessed with it!

We are so excited for this box and we hope you are too! It was such a fun theme to curate and we’re sending out some really unique goodies.

Sneak Peek #1:

Every July POTIONS & POISONS box will include a gorgeous fabric item designed by Aimee Mac Illustration! We first collaborated with Aimee for our March 2021 box and it was such a wonderful experience, we were itching to work with her again!

We are so obsessed with the way Aimee illustrates elements from nature so we knew she would be perfect for our July box. We can’t wait for you to see the item she designed! It’s super useful, but could easily double as home decor too!

Dust Jacket Artist:

Every box will feature a reversible dust jacket with artwork by the amazing Lauren Brown!

We absolutely adore how Lauren illustrates plantlife, so we knew when we selected our July book that Lauren would be so perfect for the dust jacket project! Just wait until you see what she created… it is sure to blow you away!
