A Forbidden Alchemy is a slow-burn romantasy that follows a fated pair as they uncover secrets, fall into a violent class war, and navigate betrayals.
Hailing from disenfranchised mining towns, Nina and Patrick met as children on their way to the capital to test their magical potential. There, they discover that the basis of their society is a lie. Magical individuals are not fated, but chosen. They part ways with Nina becoming the Artisan she always dreamed of becoming, and Patrick returning home.
As adults, they meet again and find themselves in the middle of a class war—one that could place them on opposing sides when an old flame asks Nina to betray Patrick for the sake of the Artisans.
