ABOUT ZARIMOTH

Zarimoth (she/her) is an artist who has always felt drawn to art and creativity from a young age and began drawing from the moment she could hold a pencil. She makes her professional art digitally using programs like Photoshop, Procreate, or Rebelle, but she would love to go back to traditional mediums in the near future. She also runs an online store where she sells prints and stickers!
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
I'm very inspired by art movements like Art Nouveau and Romanticism, but for my personal brand and artworks, I'm inspired by mystical, mythological, and "tarot" aesthetics!
Do you have a favorite piece of art you've created to date? What makes it special to you?
Even though I know that there is much potential in my future projects and ideas, as my main artistic purpose or magnum opus hasn't made its way into reality yet, I'm very pleased with my first small oracle deck, "Witch Familiars." It's a stepping stone and a first glance into my future purpose, and having a practical and mystical application of my creativity is so rewarding. I'm very proud of this project!

Diana was one of the artists who worked on our social deduction card game Stryx, along with creaturegraphics, wictorian_art, dianadrworak, andiliion, celi_arts, and meowtricia_. She illustrated the cards for Zeus, Hou Yi, Ameratsu-Omikami, and Ya-te-veo with art direction by @heyatlascreative and @stubbornpagemage.
"It's been such a pleasure to work on this project, specifically as I love mythology and illustrating deities in my personal work; being able to collaborate on this particular project and the pieces that originated from it are so valuable to me. My personal favorite is Hou Yi, as I usually go for simpler designs on the background, but coming up with the composition for the tapestry on the back was so much fun and fulfilling creatively speaking."
What are some of your favorite books or authors?
I'm really into self-growth, spirituality, and self-help books, but if I have to call for a novel and an author, I definitely have to mention Paulo Coelho and his book The Alchemist. All of his creations are pathways to a greater knowledge, and whenever I come across one of his books, they relate to my personal experiences and invite me to reflection through a beautiful story. I totally recommend them!
