ABOUT THE ROLE

Partnerships Coordinator

This application is now closed!

OwlCrate is seeking a meticulous, bookish, and creatively driven individual to support our Partnership Development department with editorial operations, author communication, and digital engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, energetic, and organized. If you can switch from managing contracts to proofreading copy and then casually reference Kaz Brekker's lockpicking skills with readers in DMs? You'd thrive here.

Who You'll Be working With

You'll be supporting the Head of Partnerships at OwlCrate and working closely with OwlCrate Press - the team behind Monsters in Masquerade!

You'll be in close proximity to high-level strategy, sensitive communications, and a whirlwind of bigger than life ideas that need organizing, editing, and executing. Think of it as being dropped into the OwlCrate group chat - only you're the one who makes sure all our memes don't bury the deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

Editorial & Admin Support

  • Manage timelines, calendars, and correspondence
  • Proofread, format, and edit content across mediums
  • Maintain clean and organized Notion databases and dashboards for project pipelines
  • Assist in preparing for interviews and podcast content - including guest coordination
  • Podcast Admin Support

OwlCrate Press Publishing Operations

  • Track contracts, invoices, release dates, and content delivery milestones
  • Assist in coordinating marketing campaigns as needed for product launches
  • Support The Nest community with regular updates, author liaison, and content

OwlCrate Press Social Media

  • Help plan, schedule, and post content that spotlights our authors, books, and behind-the-scenes magic
  • Write compelling copy and captions that are fluently bookish, smart, funny, and fan-savvy
  • Support campaign content for book reveals, preorder pushes, and interactive reader prompts
REQUIREMENTS

You Might BE OUR PERSON IF YOU...

  • You have deep bookish fluency - you speak Schwab, Bardugo, and can name a favorite fanfic
  • You're comfortable editing and proof reading the work of others
  • You can juggle deadlines, inboxes, calendars, and admin
  • You understand how readers think and react, and how to build trust with them
  • You have experience in publishing, marketing, editorial, and/or digital content creation
  • You're proactive, self-led, discreet and a touch chaotic - in the best way

Bonus Points If You have:

  • You have experience running a bookish Instagram, TikTok, or professional brand account
  • You have experience with Notion, Riverside, Google Workspaces, Slack, Canva, and Figma.
  • You have worked on podcast production, publishing cycles, or have worked on author/reader outreach before
  • You know how to catch a tiepo

Perks

  • Remote work with flexible hours
  • Collaborate with a kind, creative, fast-paced team
  • Opportunities to lead projects and creative ownership
  • Professional development support
